Disc that suction cup attaches to comes unglued in extreme heat
If you cannot attach the suction cup to your windshield, the kit comes with an circular base that sticks to your dashboard, for the suction cup to attach to. However, the adhesive that holds the disc to the dashboard loses its grip on 90+ degree days. This leads to the arm tipping over. The adhesive re-forms its bond when the weather cools below 90.I am otherwise very satisfied. The phone holder has spring-loaded clamps on the left and right. Also, the shelf that the bottom of the phone sits on has a vertical adjuster – you can set it up so your phone’s side buttons are clear of the side clamps.

Easy To Use(AC vent installing method)
Now there’s 2 methods- one is for your dashboard the other is AC vents. I went with the AC vent, it literally didn’t took me more than 5mins to figure what I was doing, and 2 minutes to install it. Best part of the AC one, is it’s removable and can be installed to other cars, just have patience removing it.

This cell phone holder definitely has the suction needed to keep it on your window. It is easy to use and it comes with multiple installation ways. My phone stays secure in the holder. I have noticed that the bar will slightly fall lower after some hard bumps (our roads are awful), but once I move it back it up it holds strong.

I have the vent mount on one of the vents and the windshield mount stuck up on the windshield, so I can place the phone on either location. I would purchase again.

I use both mounting options in my car.
I really like that it comes with both mounting options. I have the mount center on my dash and the other in my vent. they are both out of the way and do not block my vision out of the windshield or block my screen on my center console. the only drawback it the space for the cord at the bottom is not big enough to take my usb cable so the phone will sit a bit higher in the grips. by no means is this a problem when using the holders though.

Order this to replace the same item that I purchased about 4 years ago. I broke it due to my own mis handling not because of any defect. But I was pleasantly surprised to see they completely redesigned the clip. The old style was always a little loose and floppy. But this new version holds the phone in whatever position I place it very securely. I only use the dash vent clip so I have no comment on the windshield suction holder that also comes with it. The phone slot easily adjusts to hold my particular size phone and also feels very secure. Best dash phone holder I’ve seen at this price. Highest recommendations.

This phone holder sticks well to the window and the extra vent clip is a bonus.My major dislike is that when I have the phone horizontally it does not hold it up and it flops down. I had been looking for a way to have my phone held horizontally and this unfortunately does not do that well. Vertically it is great, holds the phone well, and doesn’t come off unless you need it too.

I was prepared for this phone mount to be adequate for the job at it’s price point. I’m extremely happy to be surprised. It’s really terrific. The suction cup is made of a sticky silicon type of material that seals extremely well to the slightly pebbled surface of my dashboard. It’s really solid and hasn’t loosened a bit even in the hot weather of Southern California where temperatures inside the parked car are regularly well into the triple digits. 5 stars.

The instructions recommend letting the adhesive on the dashboard mount sit for 24-72 hours before use, so I waited the full 72 hours before attaching my phone. Works great! I mounted mine on top of the dash and it had not budged. Make sure to follow instructions.If you use a pop socket on your phone though, your phone may not stay put. So if you don’t want your phone to fall out I would remove the pop socket when putting your phone in the mount.

Works great for big heavy phone
I have a OnePlus (really big heavy cell phone) and the phone holders I tried in the past that attached to the heat / AC vents could not hold my phone in place because it’s too heavy. It would work for a little bit but eventually the whole thing would just detach from the vent and fall on the floor of the car while I was driving. Not good. This phone holder was the first one I tried that ever actually worked for a larger heavy phone. It was extremely easy to assemble and attached easily to the top of my dashboard. Yesterday I took a long (5 hour) drive out of state on lots of bumpy roads and the phone holder really held extremely well and gave me no problems at all. It stayed in place throughout the ride. I am very happy with this product and recommended to anyone with a large or heavy phone.

Wonderful!!
I’ve had sooooo many dash/windshield phone holders and the majority have been very cheap plastic, with the parts that tighten it up cracking and becoming useless, THIS IS NOT THE CASE! It secures onto the windshield perfectly. I did not try my dash in this car because of the uneven texture. It can be adjusted to bring it closer to you or pushed back. The part that holds the phone is the most impressive part to me. The button on the back near the bottom works wonderfully to release the phone, hasn’t gotten stuck and the sides hold on to the phone wonderfully. I don’t have a very big/bulky case on my phone, and the phone holder would still work if I did. It seems very stable so far. My phone will move very minimally and that is mainly caused by the crappy roads where I live. Lol if anything changes, I’ll come back and update my review.

Complete package. Vent and Dash mounting included
After reading some of the reviews I was second guessing my order. Item arrived, the package was complete, Phone Holder, with attachment. The Dash mount kit, with a black piece for the dashboard, I needed it as my dash was textured, as sell as a ‘gluey’ suction cup. Also in the kit included the connector for the vents. That connector was quite clever. If I decide to not use the dash mount, I’ll try it for sure. Lastly, included was an instruction booklet, for both setup configurations.Installation was quick and easy. It does seem pretty stuck there at the moment. So we’ll see how it all goes. All said, I’m happy with my purchase thus far.

Permanent attachement (not a suction cup). Comes with a vent mount too.
I like that this comes with an optional rock-solid vent mount. I used it on my Belkin charger that kept falling off.The base of the arm mount must have been a suction cup because it has a suction cup action and a mounting plate for a flat smooth surface. However, they must have changed it to an adhesive (after bad reviews of the suction cup coming loose). I was going to try the suction cup in a couple of different places but found that, once it was applied, it was impossible to take off without a knife (which would destroy the adhesive base). On the positive side, there is no way this holder will fall off.
