Hi. We make water bottles.
Why? Well, we’re a motley crew of dreamers and designers who live by a simple creed: “Do more of what you love.”
And we love designing things that make life a little bit easier and a heckuva a lot more enjoyable. We asked ourselves, with so many different kinds of water bottles out there, why do 3 out of 4 people still suffer from chronic dehydration?
So we rolled up our sleeves and got to work. We created what we believe to be the finest water bottles in all the land. Water bottles designed to help you do more of what you love. So, what are you waiting for? Go forth and carpe the diem—hydrated like a boss.
FreeSip Spout
What makes the Owala FreeSip so different than other bottles? The FreeSip has a patented 2-in-1 spout that rocks BOTH a built-in straw for sipping AND a wide-mouth opening for chugging. That’s right—two different ways to drink.
Easy to Clean
Designed to be quick and easy to disassemble, with minimal hard-to-reach surfaces. Lid and straw are dishwasher safe. Hand wash cup with Owala 2-in-1 Water Bottle Brush (sold separately).
Cup Holder Friendly Base
Because you’ll want to take this bottle everywhere, the 24-Ounce bottles are cup-holder friendly. Now you can stay hydrated on-the-go.
Keeps Drinks Cold
Triple-layered, vacuum-insulated stainless steel keeps drinks cold for up to 24-hours. Plus, this bottle is made from BPA- and phthalate-free materials.

Owala is where it’s at!
The Owala drinking mug is absolutely fantastic! From the moment I started using it, I could tell it was a game changer. The insulation is incredible, keeping my drinks cold for hours and hot beverages warm just as long. The lid is leak-proof, which gives me peace of mind when tossing it into my bag. It’s also super easy to clean, and the durable construction makes me confident that it will last for a long time. Overall, the Owala mug is a top-notch product that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and stylish drinking mug. 5 stars all the way!

I Love this Product 🫶🏻🫶🏻
I bought this for school & it was definitely worth the money!! The handle/lock system is extremely convenient for keeping the bottle leak proof and easy to carry with you. The bottle also offers different ways that you could drink out of it, depending on how thirsty you are. The color is absolutely adorable as well. The best part about it is that this thing kept my water cold for over 7 hours. The ice was still there when I woke up from my nap too!!Overall it’s cute, convenient, and great quality. Honestly one of the best ones I’ve owned. 10/10.

It’s really good
Not that expensive, keeps ice in it all day, the colors are really cool and you can put stickers on it. There is also a handle if you worry about carry it by the sides, and it comes with a straw and it is very VERY leak proof. 5 stars keep up the good work owala.

Great Bottle with Room for More Color Options
The Owala FreeSip Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle has quickly become my go-to for both sports and travel. The 24-ounce size is perfect—large enough to keep me hydrated without being too bulky. The dual-purpose lid with both a straw and a spout is a game-changer, offering versatility depending on my needs. Whether I’m at the gym or on the road, this bottle keeps my drinks at the perfect temperature for hours. The build quality is top-notch, and I love that it’s BPA-free and easy to clean. The ergonomic design makes it comfortable to hold, and it fits nicely in my car’s cup holder, which is a huge plus. However, I do wish there were more color combinations available. While the current options are nice, a wider variety would really elevate this product. A few more vibrant or unique color schemes would make it even more appealing.Overall, this is a fantastic water bottle that does exactly what it promises, with just a little room for improvement in the aesthetics department. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable and versatile hydration companion!

Great bottle with one design improvement suggestion
After working with a billion female nurses who have these I finally caved and got one of these. It’s hands down the best water bottle I’ve owned in 48 years of living. I got the 32oz bottle as it’s the perfect size for me.Pros: color options, keeps drinks very cold, easy to hold, the straw and pour option is a game changer.Cons: I wish the carry handle had a built in carabiner clip to snap onto backpacks, when I fill the bottle all the way the first time I open it it burps a little water out of the straw hole.On a side not, I do a lot of yard work and work on my car in the driveway. I have had this bottle baking in the sun for hours. Sometimes the bottle gets to the point where it’s really hot to the touch (it’s a metal bottle) but the water inside is still ice cold. This is exactly what I needed. I’ve also dropped it twice onto concrete and while it got a ding, it didn’t loose it’s ability to keep drinks cold. It’s so good I also bought my wife one.

I love this water bottle, such a satisfying “sip”! Also, I think I found a secret!!!
Can I just say, WOW? This is an exceptional product! I feel like it combines functionality, style, and convenience, very well. As someone who values staying hydrated throughout the day, especially during the hot summer months, I found this water bottle to be indispensable. Here are some things I like about it:The SpoutThis provides the best “sip” period! It’s so satisfying! It allows you to sip through the built-in straw or tilt back to swig from the wide-mouth opening, giving you versatility in how you drink. Whether you’re working out, driving, or simply lounging by the pool, the FreeSip spout has your back!Insulation aspect works wellI’ve noticed that anything inside stays cool for 24 hours or hot for up to 12 hours. It’s perfect for those scorching summer days when you need to keep your water icy cold. I’ve found that even after leaving it in a hot car for several hours, my water stays refreshingly cool,Practical DesignI like that it easily fits in my car cup holder. That has been an issue with other insulated water bottlesSECRET!Pairing this bottle with Tan Maxxed Tanning Supplement has been game changing. These two have been my summer friends!Having these two items together all summer has been game-changing. While the water bottle ensures you stay hydrated throughout the day, the tanning supplement has given me a sun-kissed glow from within.Tan Maxxed is designed to enhance your natural tan, providing your skin with a radiant and even complexion. It contains powerful antioxidants like astaxanthin, which help protect your skin from UV damage while promoting a beautiful tan. Taking Tan Maxxed consistently is essential if you’re going to be spending time outside, as it not only boosts your tan but also supports your skin’s health. These products have given me a holistic approach to enjoying the summer sun safely and stylishly. My water bottle keeps me hydrated and cool during hot days. Meanwhile, Tan Maxxed has ensured my skin looks its best, enhancing my natural tan. This combination allows you to enjoy the outdoors with confidence, knowing you’re taking care of your body inside and out.

The whole thing about being able to choose whether you use the straw or tilt it to chug is awesome and all, but mainly I was scouring the internet for a bottle that had some kind of straw mechanism that wasn’t (1) on a spring-loaded flippy thing that would eventually wear out and stop working, (2) wasn’t open to the air where it could collect other peoples’ geeeeerms when I took it around everywhere with me, and (3) didn’t have some kind of screw-top or other cap that I wouldn’t be able to open one-handed. DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD THAT IS TO FIND? I do.Literally, Owala was the only brand/bottle I found that checked all three of those boxes. THE ONLY ONE. So even though it was a little more than I would normally pay for a water bottle and I hated that I couldn’t customize my colors, I decided to give it a try. And lo, I found the light and the heavens blessed me with a (near) perfect water bottle.I’ve used my bottle pretty much all day every day since purchasing it several months ago and it works as well now as it did when I first bought it. I do worry about the spring-loaded lid release eventually wearing out, but it hasn’t yet with constant use (and more than occasional extra use for funsies). The only sign of wear over time is that there are a few small (aesthetic/surface) scratches on the outside from a couple times when I dropped my bottle on concrete and asphalt. I wish they weren’t there but it doesn’t affect anything except my delicate eyeballs. My only qualm with the bottle’s near perfection, which seems entirely unavoidable from a design perspective, is that ice cubes inside of the bottle make a lot of noise when sloshing around and bumping up against the metal interior. When you work a job that sometimes requires near-complete silence, that noise can be an issue. For most, it probably wouldn’t matter in the slightest (when I’m at home, I don’t even think about it). I don’t blame Owala for this. But if they solved it, then it would be the holy grail of sheer perfection designed to hold ambrosia for the gods. Until then, I feel honored to partake. The handle is convenient for carrying. The shape of the bottle (flat on the sides) is a clever touch that makes it easier to grip for twisting off the top and such. It fits in average cup holders. It’s leakproof when the lid is secured well and the cap is clicked into place. The button to open the cap is strong (works well) and is easy to press. If the handle is down (it gently clicks into place if you fold it down), it covers the button and prevents any accidental presses. That said, while it could theoretically be pressed accidentally if you leave the handle up/open all the time (like I do), it has never happened to me.The inside is metal, which keeps the insides cold for ages (with ice). The straw is plastic, which stops the water from tasting like gross metal water bottle. The outside is… not-metal, which means the sun can be directly on the bottle and warm the outside while the inside is still ice cold and, more importantly, that there’s no condensation on the outside getting everything around it wet (bane of my college existence 😐 ). Vinyl stickers adhere well to whatever the outside material is.It disassembles into straw, lid, and bottle for cleaning, and the the shape of the lid makes it a lot easier (and way more sanitary) to clean than any other straw-based bottle I’ve had/used. I run the lid and straw through the dishwasher occasionally. I think the bottle recommends hand washing but I forget; in addition to hand washing, I occasionally do a polydent cleaning to eliminate any odors and ensure all bacteria are dead af. It works like a charm. This is a 100% honest review and I generally try not to fangirl or gush excessively: this bottle is /that/ good. I legit recommend it for anyone looking for a water bottle (unless they prefer the big mouth/screw-top kind) and am very seriously considering buying one for everyone in my family.

best water bottle design ever
As a designer with a background in user-centered design, I am constantly disappointed by water bottles because they are never designed thoughtfully with us (the bottle user) in mind! But this is the BEST insulated water bottle I’ve tried. Here’s why:1. I love that the straw is PLASTIC and not rubber so therefore doesn’t get stuck to a weird taste if you fill your bottle with another strong-tasting liquid other than water (i.e. coffee, tea etc…). It also makes it easier to clean.2. It’s great that there are two holes: for sipping (without the need to tip the bottle) and pouring.3. The fact that the mouth piece is covered. I hate when straw-lid mouth pieces are exposed because sometimes bottles can be dropped, dust or dirt can collect on it, etc… it’s just a more sanitary solution.4. Water is so accessible with a single hand. It actually fits for the most part in my car cupholder, and with the push of my thumb the bottle opens up. It’s really handy for when I’m driving and want water, and the protectant handle doubles as a carrying handle.5. Of course the colors are very cute!No more spilling on myself with an open-mouth lid, stained rubber straws, material withering away because of the material choice being sub-par, leaky bottles, thick bottles that never fit in holders. Overall, I am most impressed with this bottle’s ergonomic design and the team truly thought out the user experience of drinking. I’ve been recommending this bottle to everyone I know lol.

Sometimes you get what you pay for.
So the husband came home from our local big box with one of these for himself and ngl but I raised my eyebrow when he told me the price tag but our old thermoses were on their last legs so I shrugged my shoulders and forgot all about it.About a month later, we went on a day trip to visit the family in the next town over and, of course, we brought our thermoses.Later that night on the way home, his still had ice and water while mine had been completely finished long before. Impressive enough that the ice lasted in a hot car in Arizona on a 105F day for several hours but what got to me was the little inbuilt straw when I took a sip of his water.I REALLY liked that it could be fully covered by the cap when it’s closed– far more hygienic than those ones that just fold down.Okay, so that got me onto Amazon to check it out, which is where I found the third and final point that saw me splurging on one for myself: just about everything in the cap, including the cap itself has replacements easily available.Annnd that was that, really.I mean, yeah, my old thermos kept it cold at least long enough for me to finish my water, and I did still have the metal cap even if the handle (like the other cap that had an inbuilt straw) had broken long ago, BUT, I seriously missed the straw feature so I could have a sip while I was driving and I honestly did not know how much longer that remaining lid was going to last. So, yeah, sometimes you get what you pay for. Is this bottle pricey? Oh definitely! But, otoh, it has all the features I could need or want AND I see no reason why I can’t be using it 20 years from now.So, if you’re debating on whether or not to get this bottle, take it from me and stop debating and just get one already.

Outstanding Item
This is a review of the Owala FreeSip Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle. Outstanding item.I recently had major surgery, and spending an increased amount of time in bed recuperating. However, hydration is a very important part of the recovery process, so I was obviously in the market for a water bottle. Now, there are endless water bottles on the market, but I saw an on-line blurb about this Owala bottle, so I gave it a try.It is very impressive. First, it keeps water cold/cool for quite some time; if you put an ice cube in the bottle (and the opening is quite large), it might actually keep your drink cool for more than 24 hours. Even without ice, my water kept cool for many hours here in the New York summer weather. Another very nice thing: it has a built-in straw. The top of the bottle (which closes very securely) allows you to either ‘gulp’ the water through a large opening, or ‘suck’ the water through the built-in straw (in a separate opening). And this is a large bore straw, not one of those annoying, very narrow straws that cause you to make all sorts of facial spasms to get the liquid in your mouth. A very well-built container.Just a side note: the company does not recommend putting carbonated or hot liquids in the bottle. Safety first. My verdict: 5 stars.

Obsessed!!
The reviews don’t lie people. I ordered a 32oz bottle in Denim. Firstly the colors are so appealing, I’m just drawn to drink every time I see it. It is 100% leak proof which is great because I can lay the bottle down on my bed while I nurse my baby. The Free Sip spout is ingenious. I love being able to sip from the straw when I want to and also tilt the bottle back and chug when I want to. The straw is also super comfortable to drink from. Unlike anything I’ve seen. The plastic is smooth and glossy. Theres a silicone seal that pops off for easy washing, the straw comes off too and it also reaches very far into the bottom of the bottle so you don’t need to refill often. I think I fill it twice a day. The opening is HUGE so I can fit in huge cubes of ice and it keeps my water cold all day. The locking mechanism that keeps the cap closed/button protected also acts as a loop so you can hold it. Would not recommend clipping this size onto a backpack as it would likely get bounced around and dented. I have not a single bad thing to say about it. I spent $28 (sale price) and it was worth every penny. Will upload pictures of it soon. Now my kids each want one of their own. I think I’m going to splurge and buy and like 5 more. We live in a HOT climate and they walk/bus to school so high quality water bottles are a must. Whoever designed this product deserves all the awards. It is brilliant.

Owala water bottle
I love my owala bottles. This is my second one and I love it so much.I prefer the 32oz to the 24oz, but the bottle has a subtle texture to it that helps make it easy to grip. The bottle isn’t a perfect cylinder, so it has two flatter sides that help with the grip. This is my second Owala bottle And I feel that they are so durable. I’ve had my other bottle for nearly a year and it just has one dent in it and I use it every single day. These bottles keep my water cold all day long And there is never any condensation on the outside of the bottle. Also the colors are so fun!I also love that you can take everything out of this bottle and really clean the stew and under the seal.I also recommend checking out the little sleeves/ boots they offer to give it a little extra grip so it doesn’t slide around on your table. Also, it adds a nice fun pop of color!

Are you kidding me?
Are you freaking kidding? I wish I had known about this bottle sooner. It’s my favorite one I own. Goes with me to gym, work, friends houses, the couch, bed, walking, and everywhere in between. This bottle honestly makes me hurt for those who go around holding their Stanley cups.If you have a Stanley or any other metal cup for that matter, stop, drop and roll and do yourself a favor and get the Owala bottle.Pros:This bottle has a typical pour back bottle mechanism for those of us who don’t like straws. But it also has a sip function which I love! The sip function makes it easy to take a sip of drink while driving, laying back (not all the way down) on the bed or couch. The handle makes transporting the bottle easy when toting other things around. And also serves as an extra lock function for the lid. There is a secure cap that locks in place to cover the drinking spout. This prevents accidental touches to the place where you mouth is going. The lid (NOT the bottle body or straw) is dishwasher safe! The mouth piece (for sipping) is very comfortable, though it took me a minute to get used to it. I am used to straws and this was an odd sensation for a few days. Now I feel I can’t live without it.The colors are fun and I’m a sucker for a “color block” look.Cons:I wish the straw was metal. Plastic straws weird me out and wear down easily.32oz Doesn’t fit in most car cupholders and will require an adaptor piece to make it fit. Otherwise you’ll have to place it on the passenger seat and it’ll be whipping around with every break, turn, acceleration and stop. (Can confirm the main console cup holders on 2024 RAV4 fits this bottle.)Get this bottle, you won’t be sorry.Oh and Target sells them, so if you wanna go check out how they look and feel, that’s a great place to look. I got mine off Amazon cause they had better color selection.

Doesn’t Leak!
In our experience, this product does what it says it will do.Pros:It does not leak; unless you screw the lid on wrong, and you’ll see that straight away as it will look crooked. It keeps our cold liquids at the same temp as when we added them for the 24 hours claimed; unless you leave the cap open, and then, of course it won’t stay cool.We love the colors we chose; but it would have been awesome to have been able to choose the blue/light blue HP one, without the HP symbol. Surprise! We don’t like HP.Cons:For my 9 year old, the lid button is a little difficult to use. She can still open her own bottle, but I wonder if all of the bottle lids are the same; such as the ones marketed for children?Ideas for the company:What would be super cool is if we could mix and match whatever color top we want with whatever color bottle and have the boot included for a little more, but as an incentive, not make it as expensive as buying the items separately. I noticed that only some bottles were sold with a boot.Make all of the colors you sell available without the extra branding. ie. Star Wars, Harry Potter, etc.

Great water bottles
I have been using these bottles for several years now and they are great, I love that I can use a straw or I can sip, I also love the versatile and bright colours they offer, right down to the straws are colored to match. I will say that the quality had slightly fallen but they are still great. The straws in these new ones drop out every now and then and I received one with a broken button not customer service was excellent, they emailed me and even sent me a coupon to replace the cover so I was happy. Couldn’t get back the same colour cover but there were some nice options available so I was happy.I’ve recommended to a number of friends and family members and even bought as gifts and they all love it.

AWESOME Water Bottle
This is the second Owala I have purchased. The reason is because I loved the first one so much that I had to get another! I love the fact that you can drink normally or by using the straw. It keeps the liquid cold for a long time, and it doesn’t leak. I love the handle on top for easy carrying. The only thing with this one is that there was a metallic taste for a while, even though I washed it multiple times. After a couple of weeks, it started to go away. This did not happen with my first Owala, so I’m not sure if the color had something to do with it. My first one was pink, the second one was black.

Great dual straw/chug spout
I’ve had a lot of different vacuum insulated water bottles — hydroflask, swell, ecovessel, Coleman, kambukka and various generic ones. The ecovessel is the best for insulation, but I don’t like the screw off cap. I really liked the Coleman push button to drink, but cleaning was a pain. I really didn’t like the hydroflask straw cap, and my recent hydroflask seems a lot lighter and less well made than my 10 year old hydroflask. I don’t like the narrow opening of the swell. The kambukka leaks. The Owala is a brilliant design. I use the straw function a lot more than I thought. So far it is great.

The next big trend – and for good reason!
These have become very popular on TikTok, Instagram, and other big social media platforms because these are very versatile, stylish water bottles that are very high quality and can hold a good amount of water in them. The colors are dazzling and it’s absolutely incredible what you can do with these. You can sip from the built-in straw or drink directly from the bottle itself, as the mechanism of the bottle will automatically detect which you are using without any electronics needed! These are WELL worth the money and any water or drink you put in these will taste well regardless as the built-in straw and the spout are very comfortable and well designed. Because of these, more and more people are phasing out their Stanley mugs and water bottles for these amazing bottles. They come in multiple sizes that fit all sizes of hands and mouths. Some people I knew happened to have these and I decided to join in. Once they become popular, they’ll sell out quick, so you should buy yours now before it’s too late!

Finally, a worthy home for my cool stickers
I’ve bounced around different water bottles for a while, never feeling satisfied to expend my precious trove of cool stickers on any of them that didn’t feel quite right. My partner has one of these and I got hooked, and I was hooked. I can put ice in this thing in the evening and it will still be there THE NEXT MORNING. Straw when you want sips, spout when you need to chug bro, chug for fast hydration. And your precious collection of dope stickers will finally have a home

Awesome Stanley replacement.
The color choices can be an acquired taste but I like it. This is well insulated and kept my drink cold all day. It is definitely leak proof but my favorite part is the straw or lack there of. I love the option of either chugging your drink or using the straw spout and both are right next to each other. That makes this very versatile. It feels pretty sturdy. The bad part is that it doesn’t fit in cup holders but since it doesn’t leak it’s not that big of a deal. I have bought several of these for my family and we all love it.

Very easy to use
Bought this bottle for a trip I took out west where I would be spending many hours in the car. It fit the cup holders and the 24 oz. capacity was perfect. It kept the water cold , which to me, is very important. It does an amazing job keeping things cold. I really like the ability to use it as a straw to suck the liquid while driving , or tip and drink like a regular cup if I wanted to. Highly recommended.

Best Water Bottle
This is probably the best water bottle I have ever had. The flexibility to sip like a from a straw or to take a big gulp is so appreciated. Not having a straw sticking out of the top makes it very transportable and it is spillproof/leakproof. I like the 24oz capacity as I don’t have to refill it as often. The flip up handle also makes it easy to take on a walk. The water bottle fits nicely in my car cup holder. I did order one of the silicone water bottle boots which does protect it from getting dinged up as I have dropped it a few times already. The addition of the boot does make the fit in the cup holder a bit tight, but it did fit.

Great water bottle
I love this water bottle and it helps me drink a great deal more water. It keeps the water very cold. I put in some ice cubes and cold water and my water stays very cold and tastes great. I can’t get over how much more water I am drinking and that is healthy! The only downside is that I have a 2007 Toyota Corolla (so an older car) and it does not fit in my cup holder. I read another review before I purchased this and it does fit in that person’s cup holder. I still love it.

Love this water bottle
This water bottle is awesome and the price point is a good value. Keeps my ice water ice cold all day long and I work 12 hour days and even the next morning still ice cold with ice still formed. I really wanted a Stanley cup but could not justify the price point of those so that’s why I opted for this water bottle and I am glad I did. The locking mechanism is tight and nice and it does not leak so I don’t have to worry about it leaking all in my bag. I love the pretty color I got …..a light pink with grays and purples …..so pretty and feminine colors. Very happy and satisfied with this water bottle and it’s a good alternative to the Stanley water bottles and cups at a cheaper price point.

Love this Bottle
When full, and lands on its side, it does not leak.I can sip from it while driving. When I tip it up to drink from it, v. sip, it doesn’t pour the drink all over me.One night I took it to my bedroom for an overnight drink of ice water. 24 hours later, I finally remembered where I left it, and there was STILL ice in it.ONLY water bottle I’ve ever had that I can recommend! Will be purchasing more for self and for gifts.

Best bottle!
Best brand of reusable water bottles in my opinion. I like how you can choose to either drink by other sipping through the straw or knocking it back. But just a tip, best to just sip through the straw and knock it back when the bottle is almost empty. The built in handle is great too. Best of all, it keeps the mouth piece covered, with a simple button you press to open and click down to lock it up. And yes it’s 100% leak proof. If anything, the top gets sweaty if you put a lot of ice inside, but that a minor gripe.

Best Bottle!
The Owala FreeSip water bottle has quickly become a favorite among hydration enthusiasts, and for good reason. This innovative bottle combines style, functionality, and durability in a way that sets it apart from its competitors. One of the standout features of the Owala FreeSip is its unique 2-in-1 drinking spout. The patented FreeSip design allows users to either sip through a built-in straw or tilt the bottle for larger gulps from the wide-mouth opening. This versatility is a game-changer, especially during activities like driving or working out, where easy access to hydration is crucial. The bottle’s triple-layer, vacuum-insulated stainless steel construction ensures impressive temperature retention. It can keep drinks cold for up to 24 hours, making it perfect for outdoor adventures or long workdays. Many users report that their water stays refreshingly cold even after hours in hot environments.Durability is another strong point for the Owala FreeSip. It’s built to withstand the rigors of daily use and travel. The bottle is completely leakproof, thanks to its secure spout lid that can be easily opened with the push of a button. This feature gives users peace of mind when tossing the bottle into a bag with electronics or other valuable items. While the FreeSip excels in many areas, it’s worth noting a few minor drawbacks. The stainless steel body isn’t dishwasher safe, requiring hand washing. Additionally, some users may find the 24-ounce size a bit bulky, although Owala offers various size options to suit different preferences.Despite these small considerations, the Owala FreeSip offers excellent value for its price point, especially when compared to higher-priced competitors like Hydro Flask and Yeti. Its combination of innovative design, effective insulation, and durability make it a top choice for anyone looking to upgrade their hydration game.In conclusion, the Owala FreeSip water bottle is a worthy contender in the crowded reusable bottle market. Its unique drinking spout, impressive insulation, and stylish design make it a versatile companion for everything from daily commutes to outdoor adventures. While it may not be perfect for everyone, the FreeSip’s thoughtful features and overall performance make it easy to see why it’s become such a popular choice among hydration enthusiasts.

Best water bottle for kids
All 4 of my kids have these owala water bottles and they are the best we have found. Great color selections, they do not sweat! The handle is easy for even the littlest hands to hold. They find the straw and sip feature to be their favorite. Each kid has a different backpack and it fits perfectly in the side pocket. The value is well worth the money. If they do drop we have had one get a scrap from hitting concrete but over very good quality.

A vendor who listens to what people want
This product is the result of asking people what they want and they listened.Do you like to sip from your bottle, you can do that.Do you like to gulp, you can do that without changing anything. it is not one lid for sipping and one lid for gulping. You can do both from same lid.Do you just want to flip the lid and not have to unscrew it, you can do thatDo you want a hook so you can attach it to things or carry it with your fingers, you can do it.Do you want your bottle to not be so heavy when empty, they took care of that.I was looking for a new bottle because mine was more than 5 years old and when I saw the reviews I had to try it and glad I did.I know there are the new ones out that with a narrow bottom to fit in your cup holder in your car but they spill when tipped over and I just got an insert for my cup holder.Never thought I would be writing an enthusiastic review of a water bottle, but I am.

Great Design
I really appreciate the design of the bottle. It has a locking feature so it doesn’t accidentally open. I don’t typically like straws (I don’t want to get wrinkles around my lips) but the straw feature on this bottle has a wider opening and it doesn’t require a lot of suction so my lips can stay relaxed. At first, I thought that having the straw opening and spout opening together was going to cause spillage but it’s a great pour. The bottle is a little big and heavy and doesn’t fit in my car’s cup holder but that’s what happens when you want a lot of oz. I like that I just need to fill this up twice a day and that’s the amount of water my body needs.

4.8 stars if I could really be specific
After using daily for 10 days or so now, my ONLY complaint is a little specific. I am a nurse and work 3 12’s, and before I go home each shift I have made a habit of filling my water bottle up 75% of the lovely ice chips and then I top the rest off with water. I can’t help it the ice is too good. I have noticed 3 nights the last week or so the straw has become disconnected from the mouth piece after I do this water method and so I have to unscrew the lid and reattach the straw to use that bit and that’s just a teeeensie bit annoying. I do really like the mouth piece (switching from a clean canteen with the twist and straw comes out kind top) though, and the fact you can still take a drink without fixing it is convenient, since I only really use the big sip one when this happens. Otherwise it’s a super solid like the colors offered, compared to my prior daily bottle of 2 years: handle is a little more comfortable to hold, and it is a little slimmer near the bottom so it fits better in more cup holders.

Great For Kids
I think the Owala water bottle is super cool! It’s my favorite because it keeps my kids water cold for a long time, even when it’s hot outside. The bottle is easy to carry because it has a handle, so my kids can take it to school and summer school. The best part is the cap – you just press a button, and it opens by itself, which is awesome! There’s also a little straw inside, so my kids don’t have to tip it over to drink. It’s really fun and helps my kids stay hydrated.

Geeat water bottle
I have a good amount of water bottles/tumblers at home but this one is my go to. My mom first told me about owala but I was very into my Stanley cup. I love my Stanley cup but the straw tends to get in the way in the cup holder while I’m driving. And I can’t prop the Stanley up without it tipping over and spilling. Looked up the owala and found these fun colors and wow I’m a fan. This bottle holds a lot of water and it’s super easy to drink from. You have the straw option of the spout option. On top of that the lid doesn’t leak so it would be on the floor of my car and it won’t spill any water. The small handle makes it easy to carry as well. Definitely cheaper than the Stanley and it’s much better in keeping the water in that spilling it all over.

LOVE IT!
My favorite water bottle to date. I was a tervis girl. Then moved to Yetis and Stanleys. Now I’m an owala girl. I love it for several reasons. Fits well in cup holder in car. Holds hot and cold temps very well. I take nuggest ice in it every day to work with flavored water. Holds ice all day long. My favorite feature is the fact that it has a small sip area and then the bigger drinking area where I can get my nuggest ice and chew it. I’m definitely going to order more of these in the near future.

Love This Bottle.
Getting the top in the right position to twist on and off is a little wonky, but no big deal. There’s a lot I like about this bottle: When the cap is off, it’s easy to dump a scoop of ice in without any of it going elsewhere. The wide mouth also makes it easy to clean. The top opens with one hand. (Unfortunately for me, I have arthritic thumbs, so it feels like I have to press it very hard or use two hands, but that’s probably on me! Also, I have very small hands and grasping this bottle is a reach for me). The handle allows me to carry it with just a few fingers. The BEST part of this bottle is the way it’s designed to provide a choice of using the straw or just tilting my head back and gulping, if you will. The straw is perfect and allows me to take huge gulps when I’m very thirsty after working in the garden and not be in danger of pouring the stuff I’m trying to drink down my chin and neck. I love that it holds 32 ounces. That means it’s good for a while if I’m out gardening or on a hike! And the color makes it easy to find if I drop it anywhere.

Great hiking water bottle
I took my brand new Owala on a hike today and was really impressed by how cold my water stayed, especially considering how hot and humid it was. Several hours later, I had some more water from the bottle and guess what…it was STILL cold. Impressive! I also like the color palate and the fact that their are two different drinking methods. For the “sip,” you just need to use the straw but there’s also a larger “swig” hole. The locking top is very secure, making sure the bottle isn’t going to leak on you or in your bag. I bought this water bottle based on other Amazon reviews so THANKS!

Great bottle
I got this bottle in the color “Dreamy field” and on the website it looked like a pastel pink or at least some tint of pink. When I got it, it’s white!! 🤦🏽♀️ not a complete deal breaker but still not what I expected. It definitely doesn’t fit on standard cup holders, but since it’s no leak spout, it can go on my passenger seat. I do love the option of sipping or chugging, and the ice lasts for a long time!!! Definitely happy with it and getting my daily water intake.

The best waterbottle I had
I bought this waterbottle to bring cold water with me around the whole day. It has helped me to drink more because on summer as water warms up I no longer want to drink it and tend to grab something else or nothing at all.It doesn’t spill and has a convenient handle. I brought it on a trip overseas and the handle was useful when you have your hands full. You can drink through the straw or through the bigger hole according to whatever you want.

The best cup ever
Left your Owala out in Miami heat? No problem, it’ll still be cold and have ice in it. Are you clumsy and drop everything always? No problem, the Owala only gets minimal dents and spillage will not be an issue! You wanna sip? Owala. Chug? Owala. I love this thing and I’d be a spokesperson if I could. I used to barely drink any water but the Owala somehow made it easier for me to actually be a functional human being and drink water. Now my water is always cold, my brain is always stimulated, and The bottle hasn’t dented severely after all of the millions of times I’ve dropped it. Life? Owala.

Favorite water bottle
This is the absolutely best water bottle! I usually get me kids cheaper bottles for school because they lose or break something on the water bottle. This year I decided to invest in in the oahua water bottle and they have lasted the entire school year plus the summer. I love that the pieces are detachable and you are able to really clean everything in between uses. And this water bottle is durable. Keeps your water cold all day long and it’s super cute. All

Best Ever Water Bottle
I finally found a bottle that is handsome, practical and easy to use. A few cubes of ice will keep water cold for hours so I fill it before bed to sip on during the night. Easily opened w one hand so this will be convenient for after my upcoming shoulder surgery! The only con is that there are so many color choices it’s hard to decide which one to pick! The 28oz is perfect for me and fits in both of our cars’ cup holders.

Surprisingly comfortable to drink from
It feels weird to say ‘this water bottle is better than other water bottles’, but I but I genuinely really like this oneThe straw design and lip design are spot on — their width and material make it really comfortable to drink from. The lid opens and closes with a satisfying, springy click and is easy to manage with one hand, and the water remains cold for a long time.I’ve bought a few top-rated water bottles from Amazon, and this one is by far my favorite.

suspicious chemical taste
I do like the fact the this bottle has the abililty to keep the water cool for a long period of time, several hours. And the dual drinking feature is great. However, I have discovered that the water is now tasting/smelling of some type of chemical substance similar to some type of petroleum/gas taste/smell. I have used different sources of water, including filtered water. And I have had several other people drink from it and they smell and taste the same odor. And yes, the bottle and parts have been washed thoroughly several times, including the straw with the recommended bottle and straw brush. The disappointing thing is that I cannot return it via Amazon and the Owala company said they cannot return/replace since it was not purchased directly through their site, even though they say they have a lifetime warranty. All very frustrating.

The best.
This bottle spends 24 hours a day with me and it is my most committed relationship. I have all the water bottle brands and this is the only one I use. The ONLY thing I don’t like is that it does not fit in my cup holder easily. It keeps ice from melting for hours even in a hot car in a brutal Texas summer. They are great for athletics (gulping as opposed to sipping) as well. Buy it, you will not regret it.

Convenient and High-Quality
The media could not be loaded.
This bottle has a lot going for it, and it’s definitely worth sharing my thoughts on it.First off, the material of the bottle is excellent. The stainless steel construction feels sturdy and durable, making it perfect for daily use. Whether I’m taking it to the gym, or the office, I never have to worry about it getting damaged easily. The insulation is top-notch too, my drinks stay cold for hours, which is fantastic during these hot summer days. One of the standout features is how easy it is to use. The design is very user-friendly, and the FreeSip spout is a game-changer. It allows you to drink from it either by sipping through the built-in straw or tilting it back like a regular bottle. This versatility is super convenient, and I love that I don’t have to fiddle with different caps or lids. However, there are a couple of downsides to note. When my bottle arrived, the packaging wasn’t very secure. It didn’t come with enough padding, so the bottle could have easily been scratched or dented during transit. Thankfully, mine arrived in good condition, but I think better packaging could prevent potential damage in the future.Another minor issue is the material of the lid. While it functions perfectly, it tends to get dirty easily, especially if you’re using it outdoors or with makeup on your hands. It’s not a huge deal, but it means I have to clean it more often to keep it looking nice and hygienic.Despite these small drawbacks, the pros definitely outweigh the cons. The Owala FreeSip Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle is a fantastic product that delivers on its promises. The quality of the materials, the excellent insulation, and the ease of use make it a great choice for anyone in need of a reliable water bottle. It’s versatile enough for various activities and stylish enough to carry around anywhere. Cheers to staying hydrated!

Great product, but avoid third-party sellers.
Love the bottle, but the third party seller sent me incorrect colorway. Paid extra, and waited quite a long while for the ‘Grayt’ 24oz, and the third party seller sent the much less expensive ‘Very Very Dark’ color. Don’t care to wait forever for a replacement so not going to bother with a return, but now have a tinge of annoyance every time I use the bottle. Not Owala’s fault, but heard up to those that see a color they like which is not shipping from Amazon/Owala directly.
